About Us

Tacocina is a taco stand from Union Square Hospitality Group, open year-round on the Williamsburg waterfront. We press our own tortillas and serve our tacos alongside Mexican beers and margaritas in a laid-back, lively setting overlooking the East River.

Barbara Garcia

General Manager

Brought up in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Barbara earned her Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts Management at the Culinary Institute of America. She went on to work at Union Square Hospitality Group's two Michelin-starred restaurant, The Modern, and Union Square Cafe. Barbara now oversees Tacocina's day-to-day operations.
