Getting There

Domino Park is at 25 River Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249. The closest subway is the L train to Bedford Ave — it's about a 10-minute walk west toward the water. Street parking exists but Williamsburg on a sunny weekend is not the move for driving. Take the train. OR if you’re looking for an adventure, take the ferry. Domino Park is located immediately adjacent to the NYC Ferry's South Williamsburg stop (Schaefer Landing) and a short walk from the North Williamsburg stop, served by the East River Route. It is a 5-10 minute walk from either stop to the park entrance on Kent Avenue

What to Do at Domino Park

Walk the waterfront. The East River esplanade runs along the park's edge with unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline. Sunrise, sunset, golden hour — it's all stunning. Bring the dog. There's a dedicated dog run on the south end. It gets busy on weekends, which means you'll need a cold drink while you wait for your dog to make friends. Skate or watch. The skate park draws a real crowd. Even if you're not skating, it's worth watching. Catch a sunset. This is the main event. Domino Park faces west, which means the sunsets here are genuinely ridiculous. Plan around them. Eat and drink well. This is where Tacocina comes in.

Eating and Drinking at Domino Park

There aren't a lot of food options inside Domino Park. There's us, and then there's everywhere else. Tacocina is Domino Park's go-to spot for tacos, margaritas, and waterfront dining. We're open seven days a week with a full menu of tacos, cocktails, and seasonal specials. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday, 11:30am–6pm. On nice days — which in Brooklyn means most of the summer — the outdoor seating fills up fast. Come early or come ready to wait. It's worth it. If you're looking for food near Domino Park, you're already standing next to the best option.

Best Times to Visit Domino Park

Weekday mornings are peaceful — great for a walk or coffee before the crowds arrive. Friday afternoons are the sweet spot. The after-work energy starts building around 4pm and the park fills up fast. Happy hour at Tacocina lines up perfectly. Weekend afternoons are peak Domino Park. Busy, loud, fun. The lawn gets packed, the dog run is chaotic, and the vibes are unmatched. Get here early if you want a table. Sunset on any day is always the right answer.

Things to Know Before You Go

The park is free and open to the public every day. There's no ticketing, no reservations for the park itself. Tacocina does not take reservations — however, we do take large group bookings up. Perfect for groups up to 40, with picnic benches, corner seating, and a standing table. Available for 2-hour reservations with food & beverage packages. Restrooms are available in the park. Bring sunscreen in the summer. The waterfront gets windy even on hot days, which is either a blessing or a problem depending on your hair situation.

The Bottom Line
